Limerick has been named as the host city for the 2023 European Flag Football Championships.

Limerick has been named as the host of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) 2023 Flag Football European Championships.

There is a tournament at the University of Limerick from August 18 to August 20.

An estimated 640 athletes will compete at the European Championships. They will be competing for 32 teams from 16 countries.
